“Mantradala” is a newly created word that stands for the fusion of a mantra and mandala in an artwork. It creates sensual experiences and consciousness for the aesthetics and wisdom of the artwork.

Artist & Founder
Patricia’s life journey has always oscillated between a quest for a sense of life and a creative passion. For several years, she juggled a traditional professional career, family life, a pottery studio and the quest for the source of creation on this planet: consciousness and energy. These seemingly opposite experiences found themselves at a crossroads, allowing the fusion of the acquired knowledge and wisdom to be reverberated in her artwork for which she coined the term “Mantradala”.
Le parcours de vie de Patricia toujours oscillé entre une quête de sens de la vie et une passion créatrice. Pendant plusieurs années, elle a jonglé entre une profession traditionnelle, une vie de famille, un atelier de poterie et la quête de la source de la création sur cette planète: la conscience et l’énergie. Ces expériences apparemment opposées se sont retrouvées à un carrefour, permettant à la fusion de la sagesse et des connaissances acquises de se refléter dans ses œuvres d’art pour lesquelles elle a inventé le terme «Mantradala».

The first meeting with the mandala was a “mere round drawing“ that quickly presented itself as a universe. Just like a pilgrim enters a sacred place, a mandala invites you to tune in with humility.
Calligraphic
Period
Calligraphic ink pens and the technical wavering of their use lead to a graceful integration of calligraphed words on top of the transparencies of the Indian ink.
Out of the Box
Period
The calligraphy is unleased and steps out of frames into its freedom. Its shapes flow freely and take up an entirely new dynamic.
Canvas
Period
The background and its alteration shapes the flow of artwork. The canvas period masterfully depicts how the alteration of the canvas allows different facets to step-forward.
The Dragon
Returns Period
The dragon stands for transformation. Its fire stands for clarity and transforms in new and unheard-of ways. Its energies are disruptive. It is the transformation and the ignition of new potentials.

Subtle and gentle: this period creates from within in new ways. It ushers in a paradigm shift of how artworks come into existence. They represent the first steps of something new and emanates the magic of energies serving us.
